Woodworking is both a hobby and a way to improve your home or surroundings. Woodworking skills can be useful for making and fixing things to enhance your home. When we usually think about woodworking, we tend to thing about home cabinet or furniture making with sawdust everywhere and that instantly recognizable smell of fresh cut wood that fills the air, but woodworking is one of the oldest activities that humans have done that dates back to the earliest humans that walked this planet. While much has changed through the years, the basic principle of either subtracting from a piece of wood by carving a sculpture, or to adding to a piece of wood to create a more complex structure remain the same.
