Rocking chairs can be incredibly soothing. We use them to rock babies to sleep. They can be a great place to sit and relax. Doesn't every porch need at least one rocking chair?
Rocking chairs come indifferent styles and materials. Some are basically chairs on two curved rails; others are a curved seat on the floor with no legs and may even have a CD player built in. A rocking chair can be elegant, comfy, large or small. The majority of rocking chairs are probably build of wood.
