clothes washer and dryer

A clothes dryer is an appliance which uses a combination of air circulation, heat and spinning (centrifugal force) to dry clothes.

Other options are using a clothesline (indoor or outdoor), a drying rack (near a radiator is good), or just hanging clothes is a place where the dripping water won't hurt the surface below (like in the shower or tub).

The apparent effectiveness of a clothes dryer is greatly affected by how much water is spun or drained out of the washed clothes by the clothes washer before they are put into the dryer. Some people say that making sure the clothing is not twisted before putting it into the dryer will help the clothes come out with fewer wrinkles.
